I often take photos of wildflowers while out there in search of trout.
Some wildflower names stick in your memory.
One of those that I often take photos of are Dutchman's Breeches.
These more rounded breeches are from Gays Mills area.
These more straight legged breeches are from near Star Valley.
These dainty and beautiful ones live near Soliders Grove.
Bumble bees are the prime pollinator for these wonders of Crawford County's finest Spring array.
The pollinated flower remnants are carried away by ants to their nests. The ants eat part of the flower and leave the seeds behind in their nests to be sheltered by mother nature for the next Spring.
