your journey through life

I lingered before I left the stream and took in all of nature’s beauty.  I do this each time I go out.  I believe you are defined by your journey through life.  Be the driver during that journey and not always the passenger.

A Steady Cleansing Rain

About three months ago I made a comment to an acquaintance about trout fishing being so important to me and he dismissed it. He said trout fishing was the least important thing he does in life and I shouldn’t make it so important. I wholeheartedly disagree with him.

Many people go to church to feel spiritual and be in touch with the universe. I go into the outdoors to cleanse my soul. All the things in life that bother me are melted away about a hundred yards from the truck. The fish are only a bonus in the whole scheme of things.

Vacation 2014

Riverdale School June 25th "Reading Water"

Mr. Pulvermacher from Riverdale Summer School has a fishing class.  I spoke there last year and was invited back this week.

The subject will be reading water and how it can improve your success rate while trout fishing.
